Bates Rips Pow, Nordies Hit West Yellowstone

If you were in Colorado last week wondering where the Bates Alpine Team was, they were busy ripping classic Mammoth pow and sneaking in training sessions under bluebird skies. Cal-i-for-ni-a.

As for the Nordies, most teams made their way to West Yellowstone, MT for training and early season races. Great shots of the Middlebury gang on their blog.

UVM's Elli Terwiel Lands Aspen WC SL Start

Warner Nickerson Sings the Praises of Colby

EISA Nordic Latecomers Leave Mark

VARA Honors EISA Athletes

At the 2011 Celebration of Vermont Ski Racing Gala, numerous EISA alpine athletes were honored for their contributions to the sport in the state of Vermont. Tim Kelley (UVM) was acknowledged as the Collegiate Skier of the Year. Kara Shaw (Middlebury) and Robert Cone (Middlebury/USST) were each awarded the VARA Leadership Award while Katie Fitzpatrick (Bates) was named to the 2012 VARA Team.
